Elopements

One of the simplest ways for you to ensure having amazing wedding photos is by choosing a photographer who you connect with on a personal level. Of course you'll choose someone whose style you love...the next step is finding someone whose personality you click with. Lets meet to see if we're a good match. If you're local I would love to grab coffee or a drink sometime, if not...skype or a phone call will work too!

Bad customer service is the worst, isn't it? It is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Providing my couples an amazing experience means the world to me. More than that, I know how it feels to be getting married and value excellent wedding photography. These photos are going to last a lifetime and I take the importance of my job so very seriously.

I want you to know that I actually do like to be a part of the whole process, as much as you'll have me. You can ask if you have questions about the best timeline. I'd love to help brainstorm, and I won’t be mad if you text me pictures of your dress or to ask opinions on color palettes or other vendors!

Timing. is. everything.

elopement Tips

For perfect wedding photos, you absolutely must consider the timeline to be the golden rule. If you don't have a wedding planner, I am more than happy to help work it out so that there is plenty of time for everything and nothing falls through the cracks

See the light.

elopement Tips

from a photography perspective, light is the most important thing. Alaska is a tricky lady when it comes to light, which makes it even more important to think about it ahead of time. I can (and do) shoot in absolutely any lighting situation, but if you take the time to consider it, you can plan for things to happen when the light works in our favor, and that will only add to the gorgeousness of your photos!

Location. Location. Location.

elopement Tips

all too often, couples worry about inconveniencing people on their wedding day. I think it’s great to be a caring person, but...this is your wedding day. I believe that we can go to epic locations (they're everywhere!) and do it in such a way that people aren't waiting around for hours while we're out strolling around on mountaintops (see tip #1)

If you are planning a very simple celebration...just you and your fiance, an officiant (possibly a few guests!), this is an elopement. I occasionally also extend this pricing to intimate wedding celebrations with 20 guests or less.

Yes! If you tell me what kind of a backdrop you'd like (mountain, ocean, glaciers, etc.) I can give you a list of options. The possibilities are endless and I think that elopements are the perfect opportunity to go big and take advantage of our beauty.

I’m happy to provide a list of my favorites. If you’re not local and would like an inside perspective, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Yes. I always bring an obscene amount of extra memory cards and batteries as well as a third camera body and several lenses.

I guarantee that you'll get your fully edited gallery within 3-5 weeks of the wedding day. Typically its closer to 3 weeks....because waiting is the worst.

You can expect approximately 60-75 edited images per hour of shooting.

50% to hold the wedding date, 50% on the wedding day. Forms of Payment: Cash or Check, or direct transfer via Alaska USA accounts.

There may be a million more questions running through your brain right now...if that is the case, don't hesitate to ask! Email me any time at hello@erosephoto.com
